These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases, rentals, services, and interactions with Amp'd eMotion (operating as Amp'd eMotion (Pty) Ltd), accessible at ampdemotion.com and via WhatsApp. By completing a purchase or booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
All Amp'd eMotion bikes come with a free one-year manufacturer's warranty in addition to our exclusive Lifetime Free Annual Service Plan. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.
The warranty period commences on the date of original purchase and applies to the original purchaser only. It is non-transferable.

To initiate a warranty claim, contact us via WhatsApp on 065 667 9076 or email info@ampdemotion.com with your proof of purchase and a description and photos of the issue. We will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days. Warranty repairs or replacements will be carried out at our discretion — we reserve the right to repair, replace, or offer a partial credit.
Every bike purchased from Amp'd eMotion includes a Lifetime Free Annual Service — one complimentary service per calendar year, for as long as you own the bike. This is our commitment to keeping you riding at your best, forever.
The annual service includes a comprehensive safety and performance inspection equivalent to our Rapid Rescue service — wash, lube, test ride, minor adjustments, and a maintenance report.
You may cancel your order for a full refund up until the time you receive your shipment confirmation email containing tracking information. Once tracking has been issued, the order is considered dispatched and the cancellation policy below applies.
If you cancel after receiving shipment confirmation, you are responsible for the return shipping fee. The original shipping fee incurred by Amp'd eMotion to send the product(s) to you will not be refunded — even where "free shipping" was advertised. Our general policy is that all sales are final once goods have been dispatched.

Before any return or refund is considered, Amp'd eMotion must have had the reasonable opportunity to repair the issue. We are committed to making things right and will always attempt a repair in the first instance. A return will only be considered if the fault cannot be rectified through repair.
A restocking fee of up to R1 500 may be charged at our sole discretion for any approved returns or exchanges. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and processing costs.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you in writing of the approval or rejection of your refund. We reserve the right to withhold up to the full value of the refund if the returned product is found to be in poor condition upon our receipt.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit applied to your original method of payment within a reasonable number of business days. Refunds via EFT may take 3–5 business days to reflect.
Amp'd eMotion currently delivers within South Africa. Delivery to the Cape Town metro area is prioritised. For remote areas, additional delivery charges and lead times may apply — contact us before purchasing to confirm.
Standard delivery times are 3–7 business days within Cape Town and surrounds. Remote locations may take longer. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed — Amp'd eMotion is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.
Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your delivery carefully upon receipt and report any damage to us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Amp'd eMotion reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice — the price at the time of your order confirmation is the price that applies to your purchase.
Payments are processed securely via PayFast — a South African payment gateway supporting credit/debit cards, EFT, SnapScan, and Capitec Pay. Amp'd eMotion does not store your card details.
Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received and verified.
Rentals are subject to availability and must be booked in advance via WhatsApp. The renter is fully responsible for the bike during the rental period, including any damage, loss, or theft.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Amp'd eMotion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services.
Amp'd eMotion's total liability in any matter arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the purchase price paid by you for the relevant product or service.
eBikes are personal mobility devices and carry inherent risks. By purchasing or renting a bike from us, you acknowledge that you ride at your own risk and that Amp'd eMotion is not liable for any injury, accident, or loss arising from the use of our products.
Amp'd eMotion collects personal information (name, contact details, delivery address) solely for the purpose of processing orders, providing services, and communicating with customers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfil your order (e.g. delivery partners).
We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@ampdemotion.com.
Our website uses standard analytics tools to improve user experience. No sensitive personal data is stored by our website.
